Inspired by my environment I works both en plein air and at a community studio to create highly detailed, oil paintings and pen drawings that encapsulates the wonderful intricacy of the world we live in. By utilizing a variety of idiosyncratic view points, I amplify how cold and harsh the urban world is using pen on paper. In contrast, I use oil paints on canvas in a hyperrealist way to portray how vibrant and intricate the natural world is. Autism causes me to see the world in close up as through a microscope; my work, therefore, primarily focuses on bringing what might often be overlooked or even unseen into sharp relief, so others can get a glimpse into seeing the world differently.
